                                                               Chapter 23+Visual Sources
                              The theme in Chapter 23 is capitalism and culture it focuses on a new phase of global interaction beginning in 1945. The first topic we dive into is the transformation of the World Economy this started with league of nations through the time Osama bin Ladin was killed this was the end of the regime. Next we learn about reglobalization, growth, instability, and inequality and their effect on future growth. Specifically we learn about the growth and globalization of the american empire. After this we move to globalization of liberation and turn into the focus on feminism and especially the idea of feminism in the west was major. Next we learn about feminism in the south and soon it moves to become international feminism. This leads into the thoughts about religion and global modernity as well as fundamentalism on a global scale. Then we learn about creating islamic societies this includes resistance and renewal i the world of islam. Then we go into more controversy with religious alternatives to fundamentalism. As well as experiencing the antropocene era including the environment and environmentalism. This shows that the global environment has transformed and we are becoming green and global. In the reflection we learn about pondering the past and how it helps us with present and future situations. In the visual sources we learn about experiencing globalization as well as the factories in China and Africa and how it is effecting the economy. The source explains western modernization as well as consumerism with the world trade organization. Lastly it talks about the earth and its inhabitants effect on people and nature and how we need ti focus on helping the world and keeping peace.
