Next we learn about feminism in the south and soon it moves to become international feminism. This leads into the thoughts about religion and global modernity as well as fundamentalism on a global scale. Then we learn about creating islamic societies this includes resistance and renewal i the world of islam. Then we go into more controversy with religious alternatives to fundamentalism. As well as experiencing the antropocene era including the environment and environmentalism. This shows that the global environment has transformed and we are becoming green and global. In the reflection we learn about pondering the past and how it helps us with present and future situations.                                                              Chapter 22 Documents
In the documents of chapter 22 just like my previous entry on the reflection on chapter 22 we see a lot about the end of the empire. In the first document we learn about islam and how it is a secular state for an islamic society. Then we read the speech to general congress of the republican party and learn more in depth the problems that were ongoing in islam. Political islam talks about the writing and documents that people wrote on behalf of all the problems they were facing and this dealt with islam revolution. The next is progressive islam as we see they begin to make revisions to change little by little and we learn about islam and human values. Then we learn about abandon islam which talks about people moving from islam to america. In the visual source we learn the meaning of representing independence and how all nations began to have a bigger idea of independence and pride which lead to trouble alot of the time. In the end overall we get the idea of independence and freedom in the world.

                                                          Chapter 21+Documents
Chapter twenty one talks about the rise and the fall of world communism and the main points to focus on are revolution socialism and global conflict. This time period began in 1917 and continues to the present time. Global communism began with the Russian revolution and had a conclusion at the disintegration of the soviet union. The first thing we cover is the russian revolution and then we learn about the revolutions in china and building socialism. Then we hear about communist feminism as well as socialism in the country. Then came the industrial development and search for enemies as well as the global divide which lead to the cold war. There was major military conflict in the cold war and nuclear standoffs as well as third world rivalry. The cold war started many alliances and superpowers as well as an end to communism. China ended up abandoning communism when they viewed the soviet union collapse from communism. This teaches us how to reflect on the differences between judging and not judging one another's governments. The document i chose to reflect on was stalin on stalinism this talks about stalinism and explains how everything was ruled by higher party officials and how stalin created a five year plan to gain complete control and brainwash people to do what he likes, this taught us to not give power to dictators and people who are not fit for the job. In doing so and picking good and honest party official by voting we keep the peace in the world.

                                                             Chapter 20+Documents
In Chapter 20 we learn about a new period in history and go into the more modern era and learn about the new century. We begin to discuss the World War, the Depression, and rebalancing of global power. The time period for this is 1914-1970 and this is the most recent era we have studied. We learn about the first world war and how many people find it was a mistake and it begins from world war I  to the european union being established. We also learn about the people who were legacies in the war and major leaders. Next we learn about capitalism and the great depression as well as a comparison between italy germany and japan. We also learn about the racist union and it compromise as well as the holocaust and japanese authoritarianism. In the second world war we learn a lot about asia and europe how its outcome became a huge global conflict. Then we learn about the recovery of europe and reflect on the war and remember it for history so we don't make the same mistakes. The document i chose to reflect on was the ideologies of the axis powers and the damage of hitler and the nazis and how horrible his works were and how they taught us to never let this happen again and always interfere to keep the nations at peace.
