Intro to Part 5 + Chapter 16
The intro to part 5 talks about the european moment in world history, this includes the european centrality and problem of eurocentrism. The eurocentrism teaches us about geography and history as well as countering eurocentrism. In chapter 16 we learn about the atlantic revolutions and global echoes through the world. The atlantic revolution began by the american revolution and this lead all the way to women gaining rights in the United States. There seem to be many comparisons to the atlantic revolution. One example is the north american revolution and this occured from 1775-1787. Next we learn about the value of the french revolution which happened in 1789-1815. After the french revolution came the Haitian Revolution from 1791-1804 which talked about the revenge of the black army. Then came the Spanish American  Revolution from 1810-1825 which was very effected by the previous revolutions. Lastly we learn how they all correlate together and made a better present state for the world.
