The end of chapter 16 talks about the revolution and all of its repercussions against the atlantic. Next we learn about the abolition of slavery and the enlightenment thinkers this teaches us about why the atlantic revolution was so important. Then we learn about the nations and nationalism which helped the colonies to find independence. Next we learn about how women were gaining more rights in the feminist beginnings. We also learn about women's suffrage and how nationalism and feminism were linked. The revolution was both good and bad which is why many question its effort. In the documents we learn about evidence and claiming rights as well as the declaration of the rights of man and citizen. Next we learn about the rights and national independence in the jamaica letter. Then comes rights and slavery as well as the fourth of july and the rights of women in accordance with the solitude of self. After this we learn about the evidence on the french revolution and how it effected our world.
