Chapter 15
                           Chapter 15 is all about the cultural transformations and mainly talks about the differences between religion and science. The time frame is mainly set from the middle of the 14th century to the middle  of the 17th century. The first religion they talk about is Christianity then they move to talk about the Protestant reformation in the west. Christianity is spread to almost the whole world in a very short amount of time. Next we talk about the conversion and adaptation in Spanish america. After this we learn about the Asian comparison to religion and learn that in china there are a few jesuits and few people are angry due to the asian cultural traditions. Also we learn about the expansion and renewal of the islamic world. Then china decides to make the cultural tradition back from old times and everyone needs to be one religion. Lastly we talk about India and the divid between muslims and hindus.
Chapter 14+Documents
       The progression of Chapter 14 talks about the fur trade as well as the atlantic slave trade in response to the commerce. The slave trade was beginning to become a a social norm in all parts of the world. This slave trade was becoming universal and was not subject to just only one race, gender, or background. The impact of the slave trade progressed as it became more severe and limited to one race, it began to put a bad name on the salvic people. In the Documents we learn about the feelings and different people's journeys on being a slave. These documents are very eye opening and impressive because we can really feel how they were treated through this literary source.
Chapter 14
             In Chapter 14 we learn about commerce and consequence in reference to the atlantic slave trade. Another popular topic is commerce that occurs in the european and asian continents and its progression to the whole world. The portuguese empire has success with commerce around the world and travels to each continent to share goods. We also talk about trade in both Spain and the Philippines and how they had items that would become precious. The East Indian Companies and commerce in Asia would work together to trade goods. We also talk about the popularity of silver and fur trade around the world.
Intro to Part 4+Chapter13
         This talks about the early modern era and the eras before that would lead up to this time in history. The ages in our time go in this order are paleolithic, neolithic, ancient, classical, and modern era. We also ask the questions like what can be considered modern and if we are still living in the modern era. Some may begin to argue that we have grown past the modern era and are in a more futuristic era. In Chapter 13 we learn about the political transformation and the encounters with different empires.
