Journey of the Universe Chapter 4- Birth of the Solar System
This chapter emphasizes how the solar system came to be through many supernova explosions. It teaches us how the elements effected the way the solar system was created and changed throughout the years. The solar system is a very important because it is meant to be a beautiful miracle and helped us advance scientifically. The universe has a self-assembling power that helps us to live here on earth. There are of course many different creation stories and myths that the people before us had about the solar system, they believed the planets were persons and the stars were the kin and the sun was a god. Of course once we became more knowledgeable of the planets we learned their true purpose in the solar system. We also learn about geology and plate tectonics which was equivalent to Charles Darwin's theory of natural selection. The moon is the mystery of the night and attracts energy. Lastly after many years of the solar system being the around and it controlling temperature it is barley beginning to stabilize and fully protect us from harm.
